atomichaggis Skrevet April 19, 2007 Forfatter Rapporter Share Skrevet April 19, 2007 Bummer. I hope my newly bought Lidl landing net will last a bit longer. Just hope it don't break with your best fish still in it. I can't see a net being too problematic as long as there is no plastic on it... it was the plastic bit above the legs that broke on the pod. atomichaggis Skrevet April 19, 2007 Forfatter Rapporter Share Skrevet April 19, 2007 (endret) My LIDL pod is used 5 times, no probs yet I was just opening up the legs for its 5th use and... CRACK! don't anchor it too heavily or open it up quickly or you won't get 6 uses out of it. I should write a complaint... but the postal stamp would cost as much as the pod We have sen that part as the weakest, I will not use mine in really cold weather if it last that long.... It was pretty cold that day. Edit: holy cow... its a blizzard outside, don't go usin the pod. It will be slaughtered so that I can use the the parts to mount bite indicators on my Mustad pod for that, its Probably worth the price then. not so sure I can find a use for Mine... unless I can use the legs for spearfishing, set of goal posts, arrange it into some weird clothes rack or perhaps I should have had the sense to leave it out for the binmen yesterday. Yep, I'm guessing that is the reason a lot of people have bought them. the legs arent too bad, bottom section is a bit wobbly tho. could probably mount an arm with the 2 slots/bite indicator rests through the plastic at the top of the leg section and use like a bank stick... tho it may be a bit off balance.
