atomichaggis
Can't find any cortland xl dressing... does Anyone know an alternative dressing that works well on a 444?
ford prefect
My guess is that most linedressings would work on your line. Check with Baardsen or MX
atomichaggis
Baardsens got a couple of dressings, I'm just scared they might dry the line over time. It Wouldn't be such a worry if someone with a 444 said they used these same dressings for a couple of years or so.
ford prefect
Maybe MX got Loon linedressing, many use this dressing for a wide range of lines.

Wiggy
Armor All is the cheapest and best way of lubing up.......oh yeah baby! Otherwise Snowbee make an excellent liquid. But armor all is the answer to your needs.

I got some Tiemco stuff, haven't had much chance to fish tho due to hellish winds. the one time i did try it didn't seem any zippier... so Jury is still out on Tiemco. when its done I think I'll give the armor all a try. just one other question... armor all hi gloss or matt? I'm trying to find a witty comment, but it's too late and I'm tired Whether it's matt or shiny shouldn't make a difference, but maybe try both or try the one which feels more slippery?
