cheap fishing rods/reels from china

During december-january period I was in islamabad/Pakistan on winter vaccations. I purchased some very cheap fishing rods/reels from islamabad which were originally from china. I purchased following:

1. one telescopic surfcasting rod - 14 ft - 100-300 grams ---- price = 150 kroner

1. one haspel reel for surfcasting rod -------------- price = 40 kroner

1. one telescopic rod - 9 ft - 15-50 grams -------------- price = 100 kroner

1. one haspel reel for telescopic rod -----------------------price = 40 kroner

I have tried all of these cheap (china material) rods/reels in norway and surprisingly they are working OK! Except that I can't throw 14 feet telescopic surfcasting rod properly. I need more training.
