Fishstinks Skrevet June 8, 2011 Rapporter Share Skrevet June 8, 2011 (endret) I wonder if anyone would be interested to contribute to the list of fish one can catch in Norway, with species name, pictures, and other details. Many of us, foreign anglers, could really use a list like that - for identification and general education purposes! It would also come in very handy when discussing fish with Norwegian friends. For example: English Name - Atlantic Wolffish Latin Name - Anarhichas Lupus Norwegian Name - Steinbit Length - up to 120 cm Weight - up to 20 kg Notes - A bottom dweller fish, usually solitary, likes deeper water, prefers to live in rough rocky spots. Firm flesh, suitable for any cooking method, but especially good on the grill. Has large teeth and powerful jaws. When caught, bound to snap and bite, and can cause serious damage - exercise caution when unhooking. Legal Catch Size Limit - none (please correct me if I got it wrong) Endret June 8, 2011 av Fishstinks Svar på innlegget Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider
