"The work to save the wild salmon will continue!

Orri was the most important person in the conservation of wild salmon for nearly 30 years.

No one can replace him, but we that remain must do as well as we can.

The fight continues and younger forces will take over so that future generations can experience these amazing migrating fish.

We welcome Elvar Fridriksson to his great task and promise to support him in future efforts to save the North Atlantic wild salmon stocks.

All NASF and ASF nations will stand behind Elvar to bring the wild stocks back to abudance.
