Easy Fishing Place in Great Stavanger area

My kids just started fishing. I wanted to know some "easy fishing places" for kids. Kids are patiently waiting to catch their first fish. Easy fishing place = Kids can easily stand and do fishing. I have been to Store Stokkevatnet but got nothing. What are some good "easy fishing places" in fresh water lakes like Store Stokkevatnet or Hålandvatnet? Lutsi vatnet? or in Sea/Fjords like in Gandfjord or in Hafjrsford or in Frafjord?

If freshwater: try Skjelbreitjørna. A lot of fish and therefor fish-guarantee with the kids;-)

Take the exit towards Arboreet from E39, and then head towards Sviland. 

The lake will then be on your left side.

There is no fee if fishing from the west side of the lake (the eastside of the water is closed for the public)

Parking right next to the lake, and easy access along the west side.

I understand, west side is where road are along the lake!
