In hopes of catching artic char. i have read that the alpine lakes above Moskenes hold char. does anyone have any information on freshwater fishing in Lofotens for me? I am flying over from Australia so any information is greatly appreciated. Artic Char are a bucket list fish for me so i am hoping to catch at least 1 of them!!  thank you

There are many lakes with char in Lofoten. The most known is Storvatnet in Flakstad.

You can fish a variety of ways. One of the easier is to use Sølvkroken special 42 10-12 gram.

There is a license in most lakes. Check Inatur.no or ask the locals.

Lofoten is stunningly beautiful and cold. Bring enough clothes.
