Going to Bygdøy tomorrow ,any tips on spots to fish ? what if anything can i catch there ?
I will be fishing with 2 rods ,one set up for flatfish possible whyting ,the other set up for maybe torsk ..
Bait wise all i have is mackeral and prawns .
any advice fom you guys ?

I am dying to get some seafishing done ,because ive been here a month without wetting a line ....i was thinking about taking the early buss into oslo tomorrow and walking down to the castle area to do a little fishing ......am i wasting my time ? will i catch anything ?

Thats me back in norway
iv managed to get myself a little place up on the hills just up from gran , the nearest lake to me (of which there are lots ) is Langtjernet in fact i can see it lol ...is it fishable ? i did try to ask down at the local sports shop in gran but i dont think they understood me
can anyone list the lakes up here that are fishable and if you need permits ??

for what its worth m8 i went through the same thing you did ,girl split up mith me and i had no where to go but back to scotland ... things will get better for you m8 and trust me the absolute depression of being back does go away ...
if your really determined to go back you will get there ,its been 2 years since i left and you know what m8 i return in 3 weeks time
anything is possible if you really want it bud ..

thats exactly the correction i am looking for ,because you basically knew what i was saying :)which means i am getting there .currently i am trying to learn about masculine,femanin and neutral word types e.g jente meaning girl right ,suppose i want to say the girl, jente becomes jenta right ,and then you have past tense ,present and future meaning of words lol fe fam !!!

Been catching fish heavy with spunk n roe for a while now, all the gurnards and whiting are fat with roe and some nice cod (2-5kg) and haddock are coming inshore the last couple of days or so now. caught a new species (well...new for me) today too (scad), something special is happening out there...
so where are the steinbit? it must be time surely?

Hi everybody ,iv not been on the site for a while (tibia nerve damage ) been in hospital
i just wanted to pop in and say hello
and i am planning a move back to Norway one day i loved your country so much !!!
currently i can not work due to my leg but in a few weeks i hope to return to work earn some cash and hopefully start thinking about how i can return to Norway ,i know it wont be easy but hey Norway is worth it .

Thanks Havengel i would have enjoyed that,the reason for me wanting to know what Møteplassen is that i did notice it was on the computer alot in norway ,and i wasnt using it . read what you want into that !!

I am going to Drøbak tonight Yeah!!!!!!!
Does anybody know of good spots where i might try ,i am looking to catch Torsk and Lyr and basically anything that swims lol.
i was thinking of taking 2 rods ,one set up for big fish (pulley pennel rig)and the other set up for ether spinning or float fishing .
so far i only have prawns for bait but i will get some makrill.
any tips and recommendations would be very welcome .
i will also be taking my camera so expect a full report when i return .
also i forgot to say my Norwegian is getting a lot better now ,i am starting to be able to read a lot of the posts on here,but being able to write in Norwegian is a different story ,but i am making progress at last .

Well i went yesterday ,alot of ice on the water made things harder than it would normally be ,but i caught a torsk !! just a small one around 0.5 kg which was caught on the spinner ,i was frustrated because i was seeing bigger torsk about 5-6m down in the water but they werent interested in bait .
