atomichaggis Skrevet January 26, 2008 Rapporter Share Skrevet January 26, 2008 My old guideline powertaper float/sink3 is petty well f#cked now. Cracked and split where the two densities join and a bit stiff along most of the front part. What would be a good replacement? I prefer double tapers and long belly weight forwards as i like to aerialise a lot of line but any taper will do if the quality is good (casts well, durable and slick etc.). Any good lines out there? Espen Ørud Skrevet January 27, 2008 Rapporter Share Skrevet January 27, 2008 I like SA Striped Bass synk IV - this is a WF line with short belly that shoots well and will handle quite large flies... Svar på innlegget Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider

Wiggy Skrevet January 28, 2008 Rapporter Share Skrevet January 28, 2008 (endret) Airflo sinkers are one of if not the best on the market today. But their floaters are shite. Good prices at tacklebargains.co.uk too. If your fishing cold waters from my own experience, steer clear of the striped bass series. Loads of memory. I got rid of mine after just two trips and got an Airflo fast glass polyfuse 7000....no memory and I can put out the whole line without trying! Memory was a problem with my old airflo intermediate... hit the water and turned into a spring Their sinkers do sound good if all thats said is true... I'll wait to see if all goes well with My reel coming before I try order anything from the UK again. Don't suppose they do a DT? As regards DT lines, I'm not sure, but here's a couple of sites to have a gander at:- Airflo site: http://www.flylines.com/ Tacklebargains: http://www.tacklebargains.co.uk/ I've had very good experiences with tackle bargains. Very fast handling, shipping and cheap prices. Svar på innlegget Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider

Actually seems perfect for me as it has a long belly... can't find one for sale anywhere in the uk tho, think its discontinued. I've used Tacklebargains myself numerous times when I lived in England... love it when they do end of line deals. I'll have a look at the airflo site and see what they got. Wiggy Skrevet January 30, 2008 Rapporter Share Skrevet January 30, 2008 (endret) I bought mine off ebay, from a guy that lived in Aus. Cost about £15 including postage and I didn't have to pay any toll either! Endret January 30, 2008 av Wiggy Svar på innlegget Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider
