atomichaggis Skrevet June 25, 2008 Rapporter Share Skrevet June 25, 2008 Is there a way to mount a standard 'transom mount' transponder on a pole or something from a bracket so it can be lowered into the water and taken out again later? Something that requires minimal work. The idea is that I don't want to make any holes in my transom (at least not below the waterline) so nothing is permanently built into the boat and as the boat is moored for the season an in water transponder needs to come out so nothing grows on it. I have a rough Idea of something like a clamping bracket to sit on the transom that runs down into the water with a pole... like an electric outboard minus the engine... Is there a piece of equipment like that I can use??? Svar på innlegget Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider

atomichaggis Skrevet June 26, 2008 Forfatter Rapporter Share Skrevet June 26, 2008 That woud do the trick but I need to know exactly what parts are used and where to get the parts. I'm particularly interested in the bracket part that screws onto the boat. Svar på innlegget Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider

Looks exactly as LK described, I'll have to see if I can find some product details on it Cheers! Svar på innlegget Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider

atomichaggis Skrevet June 27, 2008 Forfatter Rapporter Share Skrevet June 27, 2008 Nosewheel for trailer from biltema minus the wheel should do it? If it has a bracket and the bracket faces the boat the it could be just the thing I'll need to go in there and have a look. Cheers!
