location to fish around oslo

hi all

i am going salt water fishing tomorrow problem is idont know where to go ,my criteria is that it must be around the oslo area ,in deep water ,and safe enough for my partner to have a swim if she wants to .

if anybody can help i would be very greatfull.

huh, noen av Oslogutta kunne vel snekra sammen et svar til fyren? Selv om det måtte bli på engelsk?

Hey Mark. The fjord is hot, the fishing is slow but you should be able to catch some mackrell if you want to fish in the daytime. The problem however is that most places are crowded with people having a swim, bbq or tanning so my suggestion is too fish the early morning or evening. Another problem though is all the boats.

Howfar will you travel? You can fish in the narrow parts of the fjord where its more coldwater, about 32km south of Oslo you have many places to fish from the rocks or peers in Drøbak, the fjord is deep there with alot of current, but it also have nice places for your partner too have a swim. You can fish in the morning, have a stroll in the narrow backstreets with buatifull buildings and flowers, go to the aquarium and look at the fish in the harbour and eat some good food in one of the restauraunts. The Seahorse restaurant has th most awesome fishcakes in Norway. Then go to the park for a swim and a tan. Then you get a whole day out of it:) You can find the directions here:

Thank you thats the sort of places i was looking for ,i love norway but it is a bit strange for me here because i did do alot of fishing in scotland and new all the good spots and well here i havnt got a clue where to go .anyway thanks for your help i am sure my partner would love a day out by the sea agian so she can work on here tan
